Getting Started

What to expect from therapy

Treatment begins with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. After the evaluation, I will provide feedback and we will collaboratively identify a treatment plan that meets your goals. For adults, the evaluation is scheduled over 1-2 sessions. For adolescents, I will meet with parents and teens together and separately. Ongoing therapy sessions are typically 45-60 minutes weekly, though this may vary based on the type of treatment. Therapy can be brief (12-16 sessions) or may last longer depending on your treatment goals.

Fees

I am in-network with UMR Top Tier insurance. Otherwise, I am an out-of-network provider and do not participate with any other insurance panels. I do not accept Medicare. I provide all private pay clients with invoices that contain the information you will need to submit for out-of-network reimbursement to your insurance company. Prior to our appointment it may be helpful to call your insurance company and find out whether (1) you have out of network coverage for outpatient mental health services, (2) what your deductible is and how much is remaining, and (3) what percentage of the fee your insurance will pay after your deductible is met (called the coinsurance).

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a session please provide at least 48 hours or two business days notice. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session and provide advance notice, I will make every effort to reschedule for another time within the same week. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full.

Location

I am licensed to treat individuals located in New York, New Jersey and psypact states. I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions.
